Radhe Shyam, the much-anticipated film starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, premiered in theatres on March 11 amid high expectations. The film was often postponed owing to the covid-induced lockdown, but it was finally released after a two-year hiatus. However, it did not succeed in weaving its spell at the box office. Competing Radhe Shyam lost the battle with Anupam Kher’s The Kashmir Files, earning only Rs 16.5 crore net gross, according to Box Office India. The Prabhas and Pooja Hegde-starrer is now planned to launch both online and on television. On April 1st, Radhe Shyam will be available on Amazon Prime Video. Upcoming Films of Prabhas
The highly anticipated Adipurush, another pan-India film, is Prabhas’ next project. It stars Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, among others, in a modern-day rendition of the Ramayana. The film will be released on January 12 of the next year.
Prabhas will also appear in Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame. He portrays a “very violent figure” in the film. Apart from that, he is also working in Spirit with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is known for his work with Arjun Reddy. This film has yet to go into production.
