The 22-year-old batsman from Motihari, Bihar, scored 341 runs, including 56 fours.

Ajay Rajkumar Rothera formerly held the record for most runs on debut.
Sakibul Ghani, 22, was caught by Iqbal Abdullah off the ball. Previously, Ajay Rajkumar Rothera held the record for most runs scored in a full-class debut. In his first match, he scored 267 runs.

Bablu Kumar hit a century and a half.
Apart from Sakibul Ghani, Bablu Kumar was the only other Bihar batsman to reach a double century. After scoring 229 runs in 398 balls, Bablu was declared undefeated. Bihar’s three wickets have gone for just 71 runs. Following that, Sakibul and Bablu formed a 399-run collaboration. Bihar’s innings were declared at 686 runs at the loss of five wickets.
Mizoram’s score at the end of Day 2 was 40/3, and they were trailing by 646 runs.
