Speaking to the occasion Priya said that “Vaarso” is not just a music album; it also mixes Gujarati folk music into its compositions and serves as a bridge between the artists’ traditions and our own.
What will the Gujarati Audience Will Get?
According to Priya, Six tracks from six distinguished musicians will be included in Vaarso Season 1’s. Every Friday one track will be released. Different singers along with Priya have sung all six tracks.
“Vichchhudo” will be the first song that Priya and her team will release today. The “Vchchhudo” song is sung by folk singer “Sangeeta Labadia” and “Priya Saraiya”.
Sangeeta Labadia is a third generation of the well-known Labadia family to carry the gene for folk music. She began taking music lessons when she was just 7 years old. She just received the Kavi Kaag Award, among many others.
What is the logic behind the title “Varso”?
While answering to this Priya said that “she as a singer did not receive anything from anyone, she has to work hard for everything. So she has decided to give something to the upcoming generations of singers and musicians.
Priya said that Varso is her dream project and she has been working on it for the last 30 months and finally her dream is coming true.
Priya contacted different artists and collaborated with them for her dream project, “Varso”, Sangeeta Labadia is one such artist.
