Synopsis:
Are you a loan seeker? Are you a credit card user or abuser? Are you running or working in the banking and/or non-banking financial sector? Then this movie is a must-watch for you.
To be honest, the movie is a must-watch for every common man as most of these individuals are prone to be the victim of borrowings and unwanted loans. These common men are the most vulnerable to this vicious circle of loans and bone-smacking interests and EMIs.
The movie gives a wonderful message to these common men who are always eager to get some loans from anywhere and anyhow at any interest and then lament.
The movie also shows the dark side of the banking process and system, and the reasons why self-respected people are the most people who commit suicide and take the wrong step when they are tangled in the circle of compounding and ever-lasting interest and EMIs.
The movie shows how goons have taken over the business of recovery and how they behave with you if you have taken a loan or swiped credit cards and have missed paying the EMI on time.
The movie is hilarious, a lot of comedy scenes are there which will literally make you laugh that’s what you want in a movie right?
Review by Newzdaddy
The plot and the concept of the movie is excellent. Jhinal Belani has selected an excellent and untouched topic to bring in the foreground to the audience. She has written the whole script in a story form which has made the film beautiful and love to watch.
The story revolves around the three lead characters, Manjhri, Jatin, and Ghanshyam (Jhinal, Bhaumik, and Muni Jha) who has got no relation with each other but they are seamlessly jelled with each other and connected with each other throughout the movie.
The story starts with one of the wealthy persons who recently died and he gives his wealth to these three individuals. This unexpected wealth brings, joy, happiness, sorrow, trouble, and miseries in their life and this brings comedy and these comedy scenes will bring smiles to your face.
The movie will also make you sad after the interval, so be ready.
I was expecting some action scenes looking at the plot of the movie but my expectations were not fulfilled. Sorry my action-lover friends, no action scenes.
A strong message regarding the purchasing and spending habits of today’s youngsters and a middle-aged man is given through the movie and it says that “Beware” or else “Bhagwan Bachave”.
A strong sarcastic message to the functioning, system and process of banking and non-banking financial system and institutions.
The story and direction and acting of “Bhagwan Bachave”
The story reflects the actual and current situation of the banking and non-banking financial systems as well as the spending and purchasing habits of our youngsters.
This is the third project of Jhinal Belani, she has written beautifully and to the point. No undue statements or long conversations.
I did not feel the dialogues as dialogues, I felt those as normal conversations, so beautifully drafted and crafted.
As far as acting is concerned, Muni Jha is just awesome. I could really see his whole face getting red in one or two scenes, and that says everything, a salute to Muni Jha.
Both Jhinal and Bhaumik are great I did not feel anything like overacting or underacting. Both have played their role very nicely. It is not easy to do multiple things simultaneously.
Prem Gadhvi really looked and performed like “lukkha.”
Regarding direction, Bhaumik and Jhinal both have done a great job. Few of the ariel shots were perfect with the situation, scene and location.
At the very beginning of the movie, I experienced a few jerks of the cameras but that was fine later.
Positive Points of the movie:
- Excellent subject and story narration.
- The dialogues are not felt like dialogues, they are felt like normal conversations.
- Full marks to both Jhinal and Bhaumik as both have done acting and direction simultaneously.
- The music is fine and not ear-bursting. The songs were okay.
- Sonu Nigam’s voice felt pride for Gujarati Producers.
- A strong awareness is generated among the people about the loans and their usage.
- The movie gives a strong message “DO NOT BORROW IF YOU NEED NOT. YOUR CREDIT CARD IS FOR YOUR EMERGENCY AND NOT TO SHOW OFF.”
- The climax adds more thrill to the story.
Negative points of the movie:
- Few action scenes and situations could have added more masala.
- Some more comedy scenes and comments would have added more fun.
- The lack of romantic scenes and exotic scenes makes the movie little sour.
- The story looks real but can be predicted.
Final Words from Newzdaddy:
An actually a daily happening type of story, a current and untouched topic. You will definitely feel that this is happening either with you or in society. A family-oriented movie.
Newzdaddy Ratings: 4/5 (****)
1 Star for the subject.
1 star for the acting of the actors especially Muni Jha.
1 Star for the duo Jhinal and Bhaumik for wearing multiple hats and doing justice to all those hats.
1 Star for the strong message for awareness of the credit card and its usage.
Deducted 1 star for lack of action, romantic, and more comedy scenes.
