KL Rahul Ruled Out

Rishabh Pant will be doing the captainship of India in T20 series against South Africa. KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav have been ruled out of the T20I between India and South Africa.

Rishabh Pant has been selected as captain and Hardik Pandya has been named vice-captain by the All-India Senior Selection Committee for the home series.

KL Rahul, Team India’s captain, has been ruled out of the T20I series against South Africa due to a right groin injury, while Kuldeep Yadav, who was hit on the right hand while batting in the nets last evening, will also miss the series.

Rishabh Pant as New Captain

For the home series against South Africa, the All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant as captain and Hardik Pandya as vice-captain.

KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav’s replacements have yet to be picked by the selection committee. Both cricketers will now report to the NCA, where the medical experts will further analyze them and determine their treatment options.

The newly selected captain stated that he will lead his team with his chin up after being given the reins of the Indian team. After all, this is the place where he has spent the majority of his cricket career.

“I haven’t been able to digest it yet,” Pant remarked. “It didn’t come under the best of circumstances, but I’m extremely thrilled.”

“It’s a terrific feeling to have this opportunity in your hometown; there’s nothing better than this, and I’ll do my best to take advantage of it,” Pant said.
