Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez have announced the name of their newborn daughter.
The celebrity couple named their new baby daughter, who was born on April 18, ‘Bella Esmeralda.’
Georgina revealed the name of the baby on Instagram. “Bella Esmeralda,” she captioned the cute photos, along with her date of birth, 18-04-22.
Given Ronaldo and Georgina’s Portuguese heritage, the name of their baby girl approximately translates to ‘beautiful.’
Ronaldo gave the world the first glance of his daughter last week when he tweeted a photo of the newborn with the phrase “Forever Love,” but Georgina revealed the name of their baby girl on Saturday afternoon.
Ronaldo and Georgina recently faced a major setback when they found out they were carrying twins, but their baby boy died.
Georgina and Ronaldo’s newborn girl arrived home on April 21, days after the tragic occurrence. The Manchester United player uploaded a photo on Instagram with his partner Georgina and his other five children.
Ronaldo wrote in the caption, “Sweet Home, sweet home. Gio and our daughter have finally joined us. We appreciate everyone’s kind thoughts and actions. Your support is crucial, and we can all sense your love and respect for our family. Now is the time to be grateful for the new life we’ve brought into the world.”
Every member of Ronaldo’s family is present in the post. Starting on the left, Georgina is seated with Cristiano Jr., the eldest son, and twins Eva and Mateo. With daughter Alana by his side, Ronaldo is cuddling a newborn baby girl.

Alana Martina was Georgina’s first child with Cristiano Ronaldo, and she was born in November 2017.
Cristiano Jr., Ronaldo’s eldest child, was born in June of 2010 and his mother stays anonymous because she signed a contract not to reveal her parental rights to the child.
When Ronaldo was asked what he would do if the youngster wanted to know about his mother, he replied, “If he asks me when he’s grown and mature enough, I’ll tell him who she is,” the Portuguese had responded.
Mateo and Eva were twins born in June 2017, and Ronaldo confirmed that he became their father through surrogacy.
