In the vibrant city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the SAL School of Architecture recently marked a significant milestone with its extraordinary three-day celebration, INCIPIENT-2024. The event not only celebrated the tenth anniversary of the school’s establishment in 2014 but also served as an annual showcase of the talents within the SAL Education Campus.
From February 1st to 3rd, 2024, more than a hundred architects and students gathered at the SAL Education Campus Sola to participate in the festivities. Under the expert guidance of Dr. Rajendra Shah, CMD at SAL Education, Rupesh Vasani, Campus Director at SAL, and Prof. (Dr.) Ramanjyot Shrivastava, Principal of SAL School of Architecture, the event unfolded as a grand celebration of creativity and architectural excellence.

The inaugural day of INCIPIENT-2024 welcomes prestigious guests, including Prof. Abhay Purohit, President of the Council of Architecture-New Delhi, and Architect Surinder Bagga from Chandigarh. This annual event, held under the umbrella of INCIPIENT, consistently attracts students, faculty, experts, and practising architects.

Prof. Abhay Purohit, as the chief guest, hosted thought-provoking panel discussions and talks involving faculties from various colleges and luminaries from the architecture and design realms. Aspiring architects and professionals were treated to a series of expert lectures by notable architects, including Christopher Charles Benninger from Pune, Architect Ms. Neelam Manjunatha from Bengaluru, and Architect Surinder Bagga from Chandigarh. The lecture series provided valuable insights into the evolving landscape of architecture, offering a glimpse into future trends and challenges that current students are equipped to face.
Adding a celebratory touch to the proceedings, cultural events infused with the vibrant spirit of Ahmedabad were a highlight. Dance performances, art installations, and musical showcases reflected the diverse talents flourishing within the student community.
