It is one of the most anticipated films, with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni also starring. Since the release of the Brahmastra trailer, it has been speculated that Shah Rukh Khan will make a cameo in the film, and he will reportedly play the role of ‘Vanar Astra.’ It has now been confirmed that King Khan will be a part of Brahmastra.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Mouni Roy, who will play an antagonist as Junoon, the Queen of Darkness, discussed SRK’s cameo and said, “When you are working with Ranbir, Alia, Bachchan sir, Nagarjuna sir, Shah Rukh sir has also played a guest appearance in it.” She also stated that her character in Brahmastra is one of the most difficult roles she has ever played. “I came on board as a special appearance, and it evolved into a longer role, with me becoming the antagonist and main villain in the film,” the Naagin actress explained.
The film is set to be released on September 9, 2022. The film will be released in four languages in addition to Hindi: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film is being presented in all four languages by director SS Rajamouli. Chiranjeevi has provided his voice for the Brahmastra Telugu trailer. Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures are producing the film.
The film is intended to be the first in a trilogy as part of its own cinematic universe known as Astraverse. Brahmastra – Part One: Shiva was announced in July 2014 but was delayed for several years. It was shot in Bulgaria, London, New York, Edinburgh, and Varanasi.
