Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor have started filming their debut film.

Suhana Khan of Shah Rukh Khan, Khushi Kapoor of Sridevi-Boney Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda of megastar Amitabh Bachchan have all started filming for the ‘Archie Comics’ film adaption.

With the upcoming Netflix musical directed by Zoya Akhtar, the trio will make its Bollywood debut. On social media, photos from the set of the film have gone viral.

Khushi’s appearance in the photos matches Betty from ‘Archie Comics,’ while Suhana appears to be playing Veronica.
Navya Nanda, Agastya’s older sister, was also photographed on the shoot.
The forthcoming film, set in the 1960s, will be a live-action musical that will expose Riverdale to a new generation in India.

Tiger Baby Films, owned by Zoya Akhtar, will also co-produce the film alongside Graphic India.

Zoya unveiled the new project starring these beloved star kids in November. She stated, ” “I’m ecstatic to have the opportunity to bring The Archies to life. It occupied a significant portion of my youth and adolescence. I’m a little concerned because the characters are renowned and well-known around the world.”

“I have to make sure the picture stokes the nostalgia of a generation who grew up on the comic while still resonating with young adults today,” she continued.

This new remake, unlike the American adolescent drama ‘Riverdale,’ will have a ‘Desi’ twist.
