Gandhinagar, December 04, 2024 – Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University in Gandhinagar came alive on December 2, 2024, as the highly awaited FiT India Week 6.0 began with a burst of energy and excitement. The event, dedicated to fostering health, fitness, and well-being, marks a vibrant celebration of fitness activities spread across five action-packed days.
The event opened with an inspiring welcome from Ms. Hiteshri Patel, Assistant Professor at Swarrnim Institute of Design (SID), whose lively anchoring instantly connected with the audience. Her engaging style set the perfect tone for the fitness celebrations, ensuring everyone felt motivated and included.
The highlight of the inaugural day was the presence of Dr. Kinjal Patel, Associate Professor at Aarihant Homeopathic Medical College and Research Institute, and a national and state-level athlete. Known for her exceptional achievements in swimming, cycling, and decathlon, Dr. Patel’s words resonated deeply with the students.
Addressing the young audience, she emphasized the importance of fitness in daily life. “Fitness is not just about physical strength; it’s a way of living that fosters confidence, resilience, and mental clarity,” she shared passionately. Dr. Patel, along with Dr. Kavita Kshatriya, Dean Academics (T), led the students in taking a Fitness Pledge, symbolizing the commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
