The schedule for the Ranji Trophy 2022 has been released, as well as the venue: Cricket fans will rejoice. Following the announcement of the Ranji Trophy schedule, the names of the cities where the matches will be held were also announced.

The Ranji Trophy’s first phase will take place from February 10 to March 15, while the Indian Premier League’s second phase will take place from May 30 to June 26.

Jay Shah, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), informed the state units on Thursday. According to Shah’s letter, this will be one of the shortest first-class seasons in history, with the majority of the team just getting to play three games. This means that the team that is out of the group league stage will not get much benefit from the increased match fee.

In total, 64 matches will be contested during the course of the tournament, which will take place over the course of 62 days. In the first phase, there will be 57 matches. Seven knockout matches will be played in the second phase, including four quarter-finals, two semi-finals, and a final.
