Tirthanand Rao, an actor, and comedian well known for his work with Kapil Sharma in Comedy Circus Ke Ajoobe, made an attempt on his life live on social media. Tirthanand Rao said in a live video posted on his official Facebook page that a woman is to blame for his current situation.
In the live session, Tirthanand also asserted that the woman in question was a “live-in” partner with him but that she “emotionally blackmailed” him and “exhorted” money from him.
“This woman has put me in debt for between Rs 3 and 4 lacks. She and I have been friends since last October. I was the subject of a police report against her in Bhayandar, and I had no idea why. When she wanted to meet, she would phone me as well, Tirthanand claimed in the video.
The actor poured some bug repellent into a glass and drank it as he described his experience. When his friends saw Rao’s video, they hurried over to his residence and discovered the actor comatose. They made a police call and took him right away to the hospital.
