TV Stars Share Their Excitement for Ganesh Chaturthi Celebrations
Some television actors from the COLORS channel are getting ready to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi, and they’re sharing their thoughts and traditions.
Shiv Thakare:
Shiv Thakare, who you might know from ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 13,’ says he has a special connection with Lord Ganesha. Before starting anything important, he seeks Lord Ganesha’s blessings. He also loves seeing people dance and celebrate on the streets during Ganesh Chaturthi. At home, his mother makes a delicious Maharashtrian feast.
Sakshi Sharma:
Sakshi Sharma, who plays Payal in ‘Suhaagan,’ is excited to welcome Lord Ganesha to the set. They’re using an eco-friendly idol this time, which is great for the environment. She’s looking forward to enjoying some yummy festive treats with her on-screen family.
Anchal Sahu:
Anchal Sahu, who plays Parineet in ‘Parineetii,’ grew up in Mumbai and knows how exciting Ganesh Utsav is in the city. This year, it’s extra special for her because they’re welcoming Ganpati Bappa home after many years. She believes that Lord Ganesha has always been kind to her.
Srikant Dwivedi:
Srikant Dwivedi, who plays Lord Vishnu in ‘Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav,’ remembers the excitement of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi since he was a child. He’s planning to join his friends for aarti and make delicious sweet dishes like ukadiche modaks.
Sneha Wagh:
Sneha Wagh, known for her role as Protima in ‘Neerja…Ek Nayi Pehchaan finds energy in chanting praises to Lord Ganesha. Her family has a tradition where the eldest son brings Lord Ganesha home. They all eagerly wait for Bappa and prepare for the pooja. The best part, she says, is the traditional Maharashtrian food they cook at home, especially ukadiche modak.
