The boutique market has over 60 high-end maker stalls with food trucks from around the world and local wine, champagne outdoors an inside cocktail and beer bar, plus indoor stalls featuring art, fashion, home products, jewelry and personal care stalls.

2023 AFL Kids Go Free Month, Date: Until 23 Jul 2023, Venue: Melbourne Cricket Ground, Brunton Avenue, Melbourne, Victoria, 3004

Just in time for school holidays, kids are taking over the 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. From Round 16 to 19, in celebration of the AFL’s mighty kids’ fan base, children aged 14 years and under will have free entry* to AFL games, which aligns with the Term Two school holidays nationwide.

Kids of all ages can enjoy a host of family-focused activities that will enhance their match day experience including entertainment, footy inflatables, meet and greet with club mascots, dedicated Fan Zone experience, face painting, jugglers and more.

Each match across Kids Go Free Month will have nominated ticket categories in which junior tickets will be free, with the initiative set to help families save up to $28 for a junior ticket at various stadiums across the country.

You are welcomed back to the annual weekend art exhibition that tells the story of the place of Corangamite Shire. The purpose each year is to entertain the community by embracing a sense of local pride and, revealing the Shire talent of local artists from the Corangamite Creatives Arts Collective.

Last year was testimony to this, many visitors returned numerous times to Bookaar School and said they really looked forward to next year, well here it is! They have much to show you, it’s all about loving where you live. You spend many months researching where to live and creating artwork and poetry to sell, plus informative snippets to share with the community.

Open Celebrations 1:00 pm sharp on Saturday 15 July and there will be a complimentary cappuccino van on site.

Entertaining and welcoming the audience is paramount; free admission with a wonderful lake outlook, refreshments, seating and beautiful creations for your pleasure.

The Old Bookaar School will be open at 10:00 am on Saturday 15 to the close of the annual event at 4:00 pm on Sunday 16.

Tea and coffee are freely available. This unique educational visual art event is complemented by the school, offering a cosy heated and cheerful atmosphere. A true feeling of yesteryear surrounded by glorious Lake Bookaar and its Wetlands.
