Vikas Kumar Talks About His New Cop Role in Aarya Season 3

In Aarya Season 3, which is coming soon to Disney+ Hotstar, Vikas Kumar plays the role of ACP Khan, a police officer. He’s well-known for his roles as a cop in various shows and movies, but surprisingly, he’s never actually worn a police uniform in any of them.

Aarya Season 3, featuring Sushmita Sen as the fierce Aarya Sareen, is highly anticipated by fans. The series has even been nominated for an International Emmy Award in the past. Vikas Kumar shared his thoughts on his cop roles, saying, “People often praise my portrayal of cop characters, which is great, but I aspire to explore diverse roles, and I am getting to do so now. ACP Khan in Aarya is a truly beautiful character.” He explained that while he has played many cops, he’s never worn a uniform on screen. He highlighted the differences between shows like CID, which had a case-per-episode format, and Aarya, which is more multifaceted with evolving relationships between characters.
