Koderma:– Former District Council President of Koderma, Shalini Gupta, on Saturday, while blowing the election conch shell at the cultural building of Domchanch, the site of martyrs, appealed to the public to join her nomination as an independent candidate in the sub-divisional office on October 24. In the meeting organized in Domchanch, she said that she had lost in the 2019 elections by only a few votes, but this time she will hoist the victory flag with the support of the public.

Koderma is lagging in education and employment: Shalini Gupta

Informing about the current situation of Koderma, Shalini Gupta said that Koderma is said to be the hub of education, but the situation is the opposite. There are plans to shift JJ College from Vinoba Bhave University in Hazaribagh to JC Bose University in Giridih, and Polytechnic College has also been shifted from Koderma to Jaynagar. He said that the current public representatives shrug it off by saying that they are in the opposition and the administration does not listen to them! He appealed to the people to vote on the issues of employment, migration, development and rights in Koderma.

The Promise of Development Through Service

Calling the godlike people of Koderma as her family, Shalini Gupta promised that she will work on the issues of education, health, electricity, drinking water and employment in the area through service. She said that a roadmap will be prepared to stop migration by reviving the mica and crusher industries. “I don’t have any group or party, my family is the people of Koderma and I am like an open book,” Shalini said emotionally.

In the meeting, Shalini Gupta appealed to the public not to come under any fear or pressure, because in the next few days, attempts can be made to intimidate and subdue people. She assured the public that she has always been with them in their sorrows and happiness and will remain so in future also.

Support of Local Leaders and Appeal to The Public

Addressing the program, many prominent leaders supported Shalini Gupta. Kawaljit Singh said that Shalini Gupta visited every door in the last five years and understood the problems of the people and helped them. He pledged to make Shalini win by 1.25 lakh votes. Sajid Hussain Lallu said that the public wants change this time and is ready to support Shalini GuptaFormer Vice President of Koderma Nagar Panchayat Kulbir Saluja also appealed to the public to vote for Shalini Gupta for development and employment.

Former ward councillor, Dilip Sharma said in the meeting that this time the society has decided that one vote will be given to send Shalini Gupta to the assembly. Padam Singh said that Seva is another name of Shalini Gupta, and this time the voters will have to show that their booth will give maximum votes in favour of Shalini Gupta. Other speakers also advocated change and said that there is a dire need for change in Koderma on issues like development, employment, crusher and sports.

Mukhtar Alam, Suryadev Modi, Sanju Lamba, Deepak Gupta, Santosh Sao, Milan Sahabadi, Sabir Alam, Yashpal Singh Golden, Kishore Bhatia, Pawan Singh AK SinghThousands of workers including Kali Charan Das, Gurmeet Singh Saluja, Harjeet Singh Saluja, Abhishek Pandey, Sahdev Yadav, Pokharaj Prasad Gupta, Binod Dewana, Happy Ajwani, Guddu Khan, Kameshwar Pandey, Sushma Suman and thousands of workers and local people were present. A large number of women, men and people from different communities participated in the meeting and took oath that they will make Shalini Gupta win with record votes in the upcoming elections.
