WhatsApp is unable to view the content of the group due to end-to-end encryption. When it receives multiple reports from different individuals, however, it removes groups. If the name or description of a group is suspicious, the instant messaging program may block it.

Once a group chat has been disabled, users will be unable to send messages or ask others to join.
