The Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian honour, will be given to RRR music composer MM Keeravani and Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, while the Padma Vibhushan, the country’s second-highest civilian honour, will go to Zakir Hussain. Today, January 25, the Padma Awards were revealed. The great tabla musician Zakir Hussain has received a Padma Award before, and this is not the first time. In 1988, he received the Padma Shri, and in 2002, he received the Padma Bhushan.
